To recognize and celebrate 75 years of independence, the Government of India has launched the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. As part of it, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with ACM Student chapter of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering and Radio 90 organized an online quiz “ India @ 75” on 15th August 2022.
The topic for the quiz was “75 years of Indian Independence” . The motive of the programme was to create patriotic feeling among the students of Amal Jyothi college of Engineering.
The participants had to answer 50 questions in 30 minutes. 202 students participated in the quiz. Mr. Sijin Sajeev of S2 ECE and Ms. Kesiya Susan of S2 CSE grabbed the first and second prizes respectively. The winners were awarded cash prizes and e-certificates were given to all the participants. Ms. Krishnendu was the student coordinator and Mr. Syam Gopi and Ms. Neenu R were the faculty coordinators for the event.
