Dept. of Computer Science in association with Community Extension Developmental Cell has organized a 2 day workshop " Technology Awareness Camp for Rural Women" on 11th and 12th May 2016. The workshop was sponsored by Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment. The program was meant open the wide gate of computer science to rural women. About 25 women from Pakkanam panchayath participated in the hands-on workshop. The program was inaugurated by Kanjirappally DySP Mr. V. U. Kuriakose. Inaugural ceremony was presided by our manager Rev. Fr. Dr. Mathew Paikkat. In-house faculty members gave light into the basics of computer, Internet and its applications and various mobile applications while Mr. Arun T. S. from Filanza Security Services and Solutions gave awareness about cyber crimes. All the sessions were informative and participants were very keen on studying
