Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirappally is organizing a National Conference on major research areas of current interest under the title NACORE (National Conference on Research in Emerging Areas)every year. The first of its kind “Nacore 09 ” was conducted in July 2009.

The themes of NACORE 16 are Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Semantic web, Ontology Engineering, Distributed System and  Current Trends & Global Perspectives in Computing.  It provides a forum for educationists, researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and students to keep abreast of the new advances and research results in Engineering Education. It also opens up unique channels of cooperation between Indian educational and research institutions.
